Even the gift boxes that accompany this product are made at a women's co-operative promoting skilled training and helping to combat exploitation of vulnerable rural women and in particular helps keep them away from the sex industry.  The boxes are made from Mulberry bark which is collected from the trees when they shed their bark annually. Manufacture is clean with no waste. This paper making process has not changed in 700 years - known as Saa paper, it is probably the most environmentally sound paper product in the world!
